  • Man should consider market in each case the time out. Cool location with its own flair. Overrun by tourists, of course, very, therefore I can there not so long withstand it, but you should have been there. The food was tasty and it has a huge selection...

  • I loved this place. I know that many reviewers have mentioned the issue with seating, and yes, I agree it is a little fraught at busier times. But frankly the quality of the cooking and the amazing va...  more »
  • Nice market revisited in modern formula, with food to eat and spaces for activities (we stumbled on a cooking course, really cute to see). Clean and inviting to visit

  • Come for the experience, stay for the vast variety of options for food. It's a large food court with tons of variety the food looks fresh at every station. I gave it a 4* due to price, you can get cheaper food at a more authentic restaurant, but nonetheless the atmosphere is great. Something worth checking out even if you don't end up eating food. I ended up eating at Alexandre Silva, I got the cod along with pardon peppers. The Cod was great especially again for a food court, peppers were okay.
  • Great market food court! For a foodie it makes your head spin - so many options and good ones, too! The maintenance of this place was remarkably good - empty dishes were cleaned up fast making room for new people to have a seat and considering the crowd it was clean enough. Nice buzzing vibe all over the place and well organized!
  • Excellent food market with a wide array of options open until late. Perfect if you’re with company and you can’t agree on dinner, as there’s plenty of local and international options to pick from and loads of communal tables where you can eat your grub. More expensive than what you’d pay in other ‘traditional’ food markets but still cheaper than most restaurants in the area
  • What a cool place. 6 piece sashimi sampler was delicious. Beer was refreshing. Great place for a snack, a meal, a drink and to hang. There are so many places to try it would take weeks and weeks to enjoy them all. There are two Michelin star chefs in here and all the stalls are super well vetted. Great any time of day.
  • The best restaurants selected to be here. Lots of different small places. Order at the counter and find a high top or indoor picnic style table. Seating for hundreds in the central area. A very high end food court. Absolutely delicious! Only draw back is finding a place to sit. High energy gathering place.

Where to stay in Lisbon

Check into one of Lisbon's grand city center hotels to position yourself well to explore the central historical districts on foot. To avoid the potentially high prices of some of the Old Town's central upscale hotels, try staying in a hostel instead. While some hostels have an upper age limit for their guests, they're affordable and oftentimes offer access to attractions on par with or better than bigger hotels. In the upper town, opt for one of the family-run bed and breakfasts, which provide affordable rooms and, as the name would suggest, include a meal as well.
