Quel bel endroit ! Et pourtant il semble complètement délaissé. Si du côté du ministère la fontaine fonctionne, les jardins sont entretenus, une grande partie du parc ne bénéficie clairement plus de l... read more »What a beautiful place! And yet he seems completely helpless. If on the side of the Department the fountain works, the grounds are kept, a large part of the Park will no longer clear minimum maintenance: as soon as buildings are abandoned, which gives a strange feeling if you come from the Borja Street, fountains no longer work and resemble ponds... etc. Really too bad because the view is beautiful and quiet! To visit anyway hoping that Lisbon City Hall wakes to renovate this place full of charm.show original

After the establishment of the Republic in the convent housed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. But the grounds remained abandoned. Today, the garden has been restored, and SL like to come here to relax or, as in Royal times, picnic for yourself and your friends with a wonderful view of the ponds, rich vegetation and the 25 de Abril Bridge.show original
At the one side you have this great green park, with a lot of tropical plants and on the other side you have more a deserted park with old buildings. I thought it was a really nice combination, especially because most other parcs are more touristic.
Only go there for the Out jazz party. Good location but poor on parking spots
Not much to see here unless you are here on the weekend for OutJazz party which starts at 5pm and ends around 8:45pm . Great place to chill out and relax
A park that probably hasn't been taken care of by the local authorities too much in the past 10 years, but thats what makes this place interesting there is quite a few abandoned buildings hidden everywhere, that are awaiting brave explorers.
Take the entrance in the Rua de Borja and go down the park. At first it's a bit neglected but will become more beautiful when going down. Leave near the Praça das Necessidades and don't forget to admire the view from that square as well.
