The rib Vold ceiling characteristic of Gothic architecture. However pattern motif carvings of various races, such as fish, pepper, gourds, Acorn, seaweed and Indio, blacks and Asians are the pillars and is still Manueline. From the West Gate, now enshrined the coffin of Vasco da Gama and Luis de camoes. Your altar toward the coffin of Manuel I and Queen Mary to the left the coffin of Manuel I's son John III and Queen Catherine of Austria are placed in the right hand. The stained-glass Windows are drawn from Manuel I.

  • It takes to enter but frankly, the beauty of this church justifies to wait a bit. You should also visit the cloister. It's expensive (€10) but worth it. It's wonderful. This cloister can be compare to the lace so it's finememm't carved.
