  • This square is adjacent to Rossio square. It is one of the city's main bus and tram stops, thus, it is an important transport hub. On a clear day, it offers a great view of St. George's Castle. There ...  more »
  • Next to Praça do Rossio is Praça da Figueira desired by the Marquis of Pombal to accommodate the central market, but today the site of main Bus and Tram stops. At the center of the square is the bronze equestrian monument of King Joao I. The square is surrounded by buildings that House Inns, shops and cafes including the famous Confeitaria Nacional.

  • One of the busiest places of the historical center. She gives in the Rua Augusta. Very beautiful buildings to discover. It is the starting point of the tramway 15 E for Belém, but it is also here that you will find at Confeitaria Nacional the best Pedro of Nata of Lisbon (since 1829). Go to admire the façade as the rooms. The atmosphere is warm and the prices are very reasonable

  • Cheap, clean and well located. Very strange: maids serve themselves from the breakfast buffet and smoke in the guests kitchen.
  • The staff was knowledgeable and really helped us plan and know how to get around. You can't beat the location for the price. I would gladly stay here again. It's a real gem. Perfect for our group of 3!
  • This was a good hotel at a good price. It was easy to find, centrally located, and decent. We stayed here for two nights in mid-July. Our room was nice but small. It was well-air conditioned and clean. We also had a mini fridge, which was great for cooling bottles of water for day trips. There wasn't anything major to complain about. The finishings are a bit old but everything was fine. Be aware that the reception is up three flights of stairs and there is no elevator. Pack light or be prepared to haul your heavy bags. Pros: - affordable - excellent central location (Rossio Metro is literally within spitting distance, Santa Justa Lift, Praca Commercio, Tram 28, Castello) - mini fridge in room - free WiFi (good connection and fairly quick) - air conditioning - included breakfast (decent but not great; avoid fruit salad) Cons: - small rooms and cramped bathroom (no hooks anywhere) - no elevator - springy mattress (uncomfortable) - street noise if window is open As a side note, there are hash dealers everywhere in the area. They seek out tourists. Hilarious but weird. They are very easy to pick out from a crowd: creepy-looking men lingering around.
  • It's very modern on the inside and the breakfast is delicious. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Brilliant Place to stay
