  • You can get it by bus No. 711 or 723. The Park is huge and quite far from the Centre of Lisbon, so better not to plan anything more on the same day. Better to let go of a visit in the heat. We gave advice, but just barely, barely. Same playground is all the time in the Sun, could withstand only under the trees. Helped also drink water from poidełek and soaking the feet in a fountain. There are also free toilet with baby changing table and first aid. The café was closed, fortunately, we had our own lunches.

  • Preserved urban forest, however plants are not originally from the region. Prior to the afforestation plan, there were cereal fields, windmills and mining. Great initiative to transform the whole region into a green park.
  • O pulmao de lisboa, very nice for a walk in contact whit nature
  • This camp is the worst of everithing I saw to now. I should give a 0 star if I could. Nothing worth to mentioning.
  • The nature inside Lisboa.
  • On the heart of Lisbon Monsanto is a great place to go for a run or go Mountain biking. I enjoy very mutch the single tracks, and the trails are very well maintained.

Where to stay in Lisbon

Check into one of Lisbon's grand city center hotels to position yourself well to explore the central historical districts on foot. To avoid the potentially high prices of some of the Old Town's central upscale hotels, try staying in a hostel instead. While some hostels have an upper age limit for their guests, they're affordable and oftentimes offer access to attractions on par with or better than bigger hotels. In the upper town, opt for one of the family-run bed and breakfasts, which provide affordable rooms and, as the name would suggest, include a meal as well.
