  • The national costume Museum brings together a collection of historical clothing and accessories from the 18th century costume. 18TH CENTURY to the present. Is installed in the Palace Angeja-Palmela and has attached the Botanical Park of Monteiro-mor. Is not of the best museums of the city of Lisbon, but worth the visit. The visiting hours are from 10:00 at 6:00 pm (last entry at 5:30 pm) and standard is 4 € for the Museum and € 3.00 for the Park. There is also a set of ticket 6 € (national costume Museum, State Museum of theatre and dance and botanic park Monteiro-Mor. Admission is free on the first Sunday of each month.

  • Costume Museum is located inside the Park, it's small. Is a collection of costumes worn by musicians, politicians, poets and the military. Rather, it will be interesting to professionals.

  • Visit very well oriented. I think however it is necessary to modernise the way in which the visit takes place, notably with audio visual resources. The Theatre Museum suffers from the same problem. Positive aspect: the gardens. Small but interesting. At the end an unpretentious lunch in the restaurant of the Museum. The pavilion where is installed should be refurbished and look more carefully. The food is simple but good.

  • This is three-in-one sort of museum: The Traje Museum; it is a museum with pieces from the XVIII century Portuguese fashion until the first decade of the XXI. The building itself is worth the visit. The Theater Museum; it has pieces of clothing used on the Portuguese theaters, copies of plays, theater models and some other interesting items related with the backstage. The Classic Dance Museum; it is a small museum with items and pictures related the classic dance. It is quite small, but still interesting. Finally there is a great garden connecting the museums on itself worth the visit. (All free to visit on the first Sunday of the month)
  • Very beautiful garden!
  • Great place and a must go in Lisbon.
  • very good atmosfer
  • An enchanted place surrounded by an ugly suburbs. Clothes and accessories from the 18th century onwards. Not very large but very well looked after. Snubbed by tourists. Thank goodness!
