  • In addition to be worth a visit to the Museum and adjacent gardens, recommend the restaurant is behind the Museum food simple but homely and very good. The sweet, homegrown, are great.

  • For those who like Theatre, and not only, is a good place to remember some legendary figures. I think that might be more incisive in your view to show this art. We get a little flavour sensation.

  • The State Museum of theatre and dance is the largest file of the arts and show business in Portugal. Installed in the Palace of Monteiro-Mor, the Museum collection includes costumes, stage props, sets, costumes and posters. The Museum also features periodic exhibitions. The visiting hours are from 10:00 at 6:00 pm (last entry at 5:30 pm) and the normal ticket is £ 3. There is also a set of ticket 6 € (national costume Museum, State Museum of theatre and dance and botanic park Monteiro-Mor). Admission is free on the first Sunday of each month.

  • A small museum with an interesting exhibit about theatre and dance in Portugal.
  • These museums share their location with the Natinonal Traje Museum. They share a beautiful garden. The Theater Museum contains pieces of clothing, plays, and many other items related with the Portuguese theater. The Classic Dance Museum is quite small but not of small interest. (Free to visit at the first Sunday of the month)
  • Whether you are going to the theater or you are just enjoying the garden, take a look at the exhibition inside the museum. It is very interesting to learn more about the Portuguese art culture.
  • Museum itself is worth the visit, the gardens need some cleaning up though.
  • Big garden área that is shared by both spaces. Has some lakes with fishes and nice treea
