  • We visited the Museum after visiting the Museum of costume, made a nice ride in the park that leads directly to the Museum, outside can be seen performing machine inspired by the creatures of the painter Bosch, inside you will find sketches, costumes and set designs models affiche and various biographies of famous Portuguese actors, there are models of different forms of theatre , model sets and puppets, you can also watch ballet costumes and memorabilia. I'd recommend it for an unusual visit, to discover the culture of a people, in the hope that we may be made a similar Museum.

  • Terrible service. Employees as the restaurant are rude and the food is nothing special. It's expensive. Not to go back.

  • Interesting Museum for theatre lovers, is housed in a large mansion. Outside is a wonderful park with huge trees, walkways, flowerbeds and lawns. Inside the exposition at the theatrical theme-costumes, posters, pictures, programs, paintings and sculptures. Unusual and interesting!

  • A small museum with an interesting exhibit about theatre and dance in Portugal.
  • These museums share their location with the Natinonal Traje Museum. They share a beautiful garden. The Theater Museum contains pieces of clothing, plays, and many other items related with the Portuguese theater. The Classic Dance Museum is quite small but not of small interest. (Free to visit at the first Sunday of the month)
  • Whether you are going to the theater or you are just enjoying the garden, take a look at the exhibition inside the museum. It is very interesting to learn more about the Portuguese art culture.
  • Museum itself is worth the visit, the gardens need some cleaning up though.
  • Big garden área that is shared by both spaces. Has some lakes with fishes and nice treea
