  • A trip to Lisbon to the discovery of culture. One of the places searched and visited was of course the Archaeology Museum, with the Jerónimos Monastery in historical context. The visit offered a lot of history and cultures. The exhibition of black gold with Romania and Portugal arm-in-arm to show beautiful pieces in gold and silver. Just passing by, you can let light by the brightness of the exhibits. A marvel!

  • How is next to the monastery of jeronimos, you have the option to pay 12 euros and go to both of us. Out that buying a ticket there picks up much less queue. The collection is interesting. It's not great, but worth the visit.

  • Next door to the Archaeology Museum is located the monastery of Jerónimos, probably the biggest tourist attraction in Lisbon. Nevertheless draws large groups not archaeological museum visitors. The explanation must be that there is probably a rather set and little inspirational museum. Here is the more traditional exhibitions, but little use of educational and motivational exhibition methods. No audio visual aids. This exciting story should have had a better story.

  • I really enjoyed my short time within the museum. All the artifacts were really interesting. The treasure section with all the gold and silver was my favourite. Great day out including the monastery.
  • Excellent dislays and interactive video for deeper presentation. The right amount of artifacts and info to excite, inform and stimulate without overload
  • Was a nice museum considering the Lisboa card covered it. There were some mummies sarcophagi pretty interesting. And also all the other Egipt stuff.
  • Interesting little museum, probably wouldn't ever visit on its own but only an extra €2 when visiting the monastery. You can but the tickets as a package for only €12
  • We saw jeronimoes monastery, the museum or archeology, and the tower of Belem with a ticket we bought at the museum of archeology. Pro tip, skip the very long line at the monastery by buying this package from the museum next door. Nearby, you can buy pastel de Nata from the famous Belem bakery. You'll want to eat them right away, they get soft if you leave them in the packaging. I bought this ticket only to skip the line at the monastery next door, but for the couple extra euro, it was an interesting spot. Only takes a few minutes to go through, but the exit leads right to the head of the line at the monastery next door.
