  • New world discovery is aggression as the discovery of valuable new balance of power. Passed away in the memories of colonial war of narereta memorial monument. Made me think.

  • The monument, located near the Tower of Belem, is dedicated to the fallen of the wars overseas. It is very simple and straightforward, but it's worth to reach it, because behind it lies the Museum of the armed forces.

  • Is located very close to the Tower of Belen. It is a tribute to the soldiers who died in the Portuguese colonies whose name are engraved on the monument. It is simple, sober and instills a feeling of respect. Due to its location close to the Tower of Belen, it is worth going.

  • Cclose to the belem tower and its worth tking a look but it shoukd nlt be there as it covers the river view.
  • It's just by Belém Tower so I'd definitely recommend walking over. It's pretty cool!
  • Insanely modern-looking memorial, but in a really pretty way. It lays in a small layer of water which shines lovely in the sun.
  • Impressive memorial, loved how each and every martyr's name was engraved on the surrounding walls.
  • A good memorial, a few minutes away from the Belem Tower
