  • Gives you a good idea of how the city is build. Beautiful view, especially at night. Not to be missed!  more »
  • By taking the funicular from the Restauradores square (across the Hard Rock Cafe, 3€ 70 ticket) with typical feeling of the rise on a hill peak, you get up on a charming square. Of the, the view is magnificent on the city center of Lisbon, Rossio until sunset district, through the Cathedral Se and the Castelo Sao Jorge. A bar is installed on the terrace, great atmosphere on Saturday. The downhill walk is all nice, but beware the thighs and ankles, it goes down to pick up cobblestone sidewalks... Not to do with a stroller.

  • Very lively and very friendly place. Great view, accessible from the funicular. Good starting point for visits to the Bairro Alto.

  • Some of the best views in Lisbon. Although the sun sets in the west and you are facing east over here you will be able to see some of the last rays of light hitting the Castelo Sao Jorge and the old part of Lisbon from this lookout point. Afterwards you are close to several cheap bars and restaurants just across the street in Bairro Alto.
  • One of the best views from the west side of downtown. Recent nice little shops were set up there.
  • Interesting with few small vendors offering some artisans products. Nice view of the castelo from there. Possibility to get coffee or drinks as well.
  • Excelente vista e perspectiva sobre Lisboa
  • Often hosts markets with interesting typical portuguese products, and other themes from time to time. The view is unmissable. There is a kiosk to stop for coffee, though it is a little overpriced for Portuguese standards. A good stop on your way to or from downton/bairro alto/principe real.
