  • Recently, there's a movement of Lisbon rediscovery of public spaces. This phenomenon is due to the fact that the urban transformation and revitalization that Lisbon has undergone in recent years. This viewpoint (here on the broad concept, including the garden of São Pedro de Alcântara) is one of the most beautiful and has one of the most rewarding views of the city. In addition, it is close to several tourist attractions, hotels, restaurants, shops and other entertainment options. Say, without a doubt, it's a mandatory stop which makes the senses.

  • Is a public space in the neighborhood of mercy, close to Bairro Alto. There can be accessed by Elevator, an ascent pulled to do the walk, but you can also use the cable car. From there you will find the District of Alfama, where lies the castle of St. George, the Cathedral has been the view of the Tagus River and the roofs of the old houses of much of Lisbon. At any time the place is beautiful to photograph, rest, take a ginja (typical drink) or eat something in the tents, but at night is more romantic and special.

  • Some of the best views in Lisbon. Although the sun sets in the west and you are facing east over here you will be able to see some of the last rays of light hitting the Castelo Sao Jorge and the old part of Lisbon from this lookout point. Afterwards you are close to several cheap bars and restaurants just across the street in Bairro Alto.
  • One of the best views from the west side of downtown. Recent nice little shops were set up there.
  • Interesting with few small vendors offering some artisans products. Nice view of the castelo from there. Possibility to get coffee or drinks as well.
  • Excelente vista e perspectiva sobre Lisboa
  • Often hosts markets with interesting typical portuguese products, and other themes from time to time. The view is unmissable. There is a kiosk to stop for coffee, though it is a little overpriced for Portuguese standards. A good stop on your way to or from downton/bairro alto/principe real.
