Historic Walking Area Tourist Spot
Perched atop a hill overlooking the city, Miradouro de Santa Luzia gives you a view over much of Lisbon's medieval quarter, the Tagus River, and the nearby ocean. Climb to the terrace viewpoint and its basilica, and you'll find that you have a new perspective on the red rooftops of the Alfama neighborhood, as well as the city's spires that dot the landscape. Stop by the on-site church, which boasts a series of scenes and artwork constructed from blue tiles. Afterward, you can kick back with a drink at the terrace's cafe.
