Miradouro de Santa Luzia, Lisbon
(4.3/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
Perched atop a hill overlooking the city, Miradouro de Santa Luzia gives you a view over much of Lisbon's medieval quarter, the Tagus River, and the nearby ocean. Climb to the terrace viewpoint and its basilica, and you'll find that you have a new perspective on the red rooftops of the Alfama neighborhood, as well as the city's spires that dot the landscape. Stop by the on-site church, which boasts a series of scenes and artwork constructed from blue tiles. Afterward, you can kick back with a drink at the terrace's cafe. Put Miradouro de Santa Luzia into our Lisbon itinerary maker and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • The view that this viewpoint provides is simply charming. In addition, it is close to other points of interest such as St. George's Castle and the Cathedral, can fit in the script. It's worth it!
