  • The reservoir is interesting to visit, with emphasis on the structure that is used to fill up the tank and to be a sense of the history of water supply in Lisbon. Above the reservoir there is a terrace with a beautiful view of the city, and you can see the castle of São Jorge, the baia do Tejo.

  • The mother of Amoreiras Water is the end point of the Águas Livres Aqueduct. In your interior there is a small waterfall out of a statue and which flows into a huge reservoir. At the top, is visible at the end of the aqueduct as well as a nice view to the Tagus. Nice location and pleasant to visit. Enjoy the free entries on Saturdays during 2018 (quick tour is not worth paying).
