  • I loved it when I went there in the evening. There were no tourists and only a few people around. It was very beautiful to see.  more »
  • I went during the day, sat on the edge of the fountain and just stared at it for at least half an hour. There weren't many other people there so it was a great place to just sit and enjoy. I plan to g...  more »
  • The biggest fountain I have ever seen! Not only that but it is in a great location and it presents itself like a centerpiece of the city. Do not even get me started on how it looks at night. Just simp...  more »

  • Very beautiful concrete fountain with lighting, statues, a view point of Alameda on top, a beautiful park in front, and a option to visit inside on Saturday afternoon. This is one of the chief attraction of Alameda and it is a must see when you hit Lisbon.
  • Gigantic fountain that amazes everyone when the water's flowing, otherwise it can be a bit disappointing . Summer nights by it are delightful. The refreshing mist and defining sound of water falling are just fantastic
  • Has potential, but with very poor maintenance and lots of graffiti does not worth a visit.
  • dirty grass with a lot of rubish and up on the stairs there is an unofficial public toilet - basic on the smell around there
  • Very nice plece to visit mainly in the evening. A lot of people runing and walking their dogs. The fountain is impressive.
