  • On a sunny day it is a great place to visit for those interested in plants and nature. You walk through a Parque Eduardo VII up- yes, to yet another miradouro(viewpoint) at the top-but before reaching...  more »
  • Located in an old quarry, these gardens are home to a superb collection of exotic plants. A nice and cool ride, especially on hot days. In winter-blooming Japanese camellias. Some of the examples are impressive. Highly recommended.

  • Worth a visit! This is a great place to cool off and relax after a day of sightseeing. The botanical garden is designed with various levels and secret nooks. Very interesting and fun!
  • Very charmed by the huge greenhouse with the lush greenery. The place was full of couples (including my boyfriend and I) when we visited. And I can see why - it has a nice romantic air about it.
  • A nice place to see some interesting and also beautiful flora. There many small lakes, some with a piece of art and some with fish. If you are lucky as I was you might even get some ducks crossing your path. They won't mind you, and if you try to pet them they will just walk away. They are not looking for intimacy, just minding their own business. xD Free on Sunday mornings. Schedule changes depending on the season.
  • Quiet space, really perfect for a hot afternoon away from the scores of tourists. Amazing plants, curious paths and a treat that feels completely private and like your own adventure. Thoroughly reccomend. Cheap and hidden, we saw maybe two other people whilst we were there.
  • Had a look around this garden, only 3 euros 20 each to get in, we were surprised that it isn't sign posted, I only found it in TripAdvisor. Cool gardens, very well cared for, not too many people looking around it. Well worth a visit.
