  • It's not just a cemetery in our understanding and collection of small monuments and sculptures, all are not alike. Age-old trees, shady alleys is a good place for secluded walks and relaxation. I remembered this excursion, glad that got it and recommend to all!

  • The British cemetry is very pretty with a lovely garden and most famous for Henry Fielding's grave. It also has thw grave of all British citizens who have died in Lisbon, dating back 250 years. Plus it is the home of St George's church; which is the only Anglican/ Church of England church in Central Lisbon. It has services every Sunday at 11:30am and Thursdays at 12:30pm. They are always so inviting and welcoming and everyone is welcome. The church alone has an incredible history.
  • Can only be visited on weekdays between 10.30 am and 1 pm.
  • Very good
