  • This old cemetery has very ancient tombs, with declarations of love to wives, children and parents. Tombs that look like homes, castles or trees. Coffins in sight intrigue. The cemetery is in the square at the end of the path of the traditional Tram 28. You can schedule in advance a guided visit, to get to the graves of personalities. The staff are quite friendly and the bathrooms are clean.

  • Each in its own way but well put a de facto solidarity walk in cemeteries. 28 times, went inside the tram terminus located in the views is very good. If you're a tourist once fell to stops along the tram terminus.

  • It's somewhat the "father-Lachaise" increasingly small but worth the drive - bus stops and tram are 2

  • This reminds me of Pere LaChaise in Paris but it is much less crowded and therefore more serene. We wandered around for several hours just looking into the mauselems and admiring the views of the sea.
  • Nice river view and with impressive mausoleums.
  • one of the most beautiful and unique cemiteries in the world, the view for the river is amazing :D
  • Very pretty cemetery with many famous Portuguese people. Walk all the way to the back for a nice view. On sunny days it can be a nice albeit sometimes creepy place to go for a walk.
  • A really unique place in the centre of Lisbon, doesn't disappoint. Very quiet and interesting
