Modeled after the Champs-Elysees in Paris, Avenida da Liberdade serves as the main boulevard and walkway in Lisbon. Flanked on either end by Restauradores Square and Marquis of Pombal Square, this 90 m (295 ft) wide avenue was built in 1879. Spend your day visiting the designer shops that line this street, such as Louis Vuitton, Burberry, and Tods, and relax at charming cafes along the way. Stroll down the beautiful mosaic path under the shade of tall trees, take a seat by elegant fountains and lush gardens, or view historical mansions and exhibitions on the famous avenue. The area is also home to the Monument to the Heroes of the Great War, which honors the 40,000 Portuguese soldiers who fought in World War I. • It's worth making a nice stroll through this Avenue, full of trees, wide sidewalks, filled with designer shops. Nice walk at dawn, in the late afternoon and early evening ... unmissable ride. ...

  • The Avenue is beautiful, has shops, restaurants, theatres and fine hotels. Can a run or walk at any hour of the day and night. It is a short walk from the Rossio.

  • Wide Avenue with a great trade and great restaurants. To take the whole family, or just look at the hectic movement of this Avenue. Has flaws, but which place with so many people is flawless. Hotspot in Lisbon.

  • Um serviço atento para um almoço agradável lado a lado com a Avenida da Liberdade. Design moderno e confortável. Preços medios (Prato entre os 12 e 15€)
  • Decoração moderna, um sítio muito cosmopolita no centro da cidade.
