  • An exciting experience in Lisbon. A splendid Museum, small but with great works and with a lot of beauty. In addition to the magnificent Church of San Roque, with all his gold, I recommend a visit to the Museum to complete the route. It costs very little and it is worth.

  • Pedro's English language tour was excellent. His extensive knowledge of the church and Portuguese history helped him deliver an excellent guide through São Roque. He was hugely enthusiastic and answer...  more »
  • The church is already a museum on its own, but the accompanying museum was a great addition. Very informative with some beautiful pieces.

  • It's a big religious museum. Free on the first Sunday of the month.
  • Excellent museum showing the history of the attached church. Beautifully presented.
  • No history about the church or the Jesuits, just a lot of gilt hardware and paintings.
  • This is to me, the most beautiful church in Lisbon and one of the best in Europe. The Museum just naturally follows the history of the church (and the country) and it is amazing how everything will seem connected. Tour Guide recommended as most details are 'invisible' to the human eye but then just pop out when our attention is turned to them. Incredibly educative.
  • Belíssimo Museu. Muito bem organizado. A Igreja é uma das mais belas de Lisboa.
