I like the respect that workers are the players. I think that in many fields of Spain should take note..., I had already seen him in some areas of the Algarve. The only problem, and it is not in the field, is if there are motorcycle in the circuit of Estoril. The noise they have is unbearable, but not everything is going to be 10...
I would highly recommend this golf course. It's in a beautiful location among the forested hillside outside Lisbon. The course is very well kept and a good test for any keen golfer. Excellent clubhous... more »
I complained about the service level our Group recived. Since then we got more service than ever before. So here we found out the manager took us serious and delived big time. Thanks for a great week ... more »
The facilities and room were beautiful, and the reception service was impeccable. However I was kept up until 12 pm due to a wedding. The room was poorly sound proof. After traveling all day and kept up most of the night, I have to give a poor review.
Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. We being hospitality students have even worked here as interns and had a wonderful time then. Former colleagues of the company even have us an upgrade just as a good gesture. Unfortunately since that time the level of service has not only come down but they have even forgotten the three steps of service which are taught to every employee of the company. The service was pathetic. One morning there was a hair in the mushrooms, the intern looked and said oh! and left no apology given. We asked the reception to make a reservation in a restaurant and no reservation was made. We had to cut a sorry figure at the restaurant and lost the table because the kitchen was already close. The guest services interns seeing me coming with heavy bags never came to ask for help nor did they help during check in and check out with our luggage. Our former colleague from the kids club felt sorry and the girls came to help us while they stand there looking at us. The restaurant B lounge which specializes in burgers, burnt the vegetarian burger I ordered and the patty was cold as ice. Then in the description of the burger they said that it contained cream cheese which didn't come either in the first burger or in the second one they changed. However the housekeeping was impeccable and had no complaints there at all and so was the concierge. They don't even deserve the one star for this stay. Certainly I would never come back to this property and I would never recommend any friend or family for this hotel and since a lot of interns come here from my school in Switzerland I would even discourage them to work for this hotel as it does not live up to the expectation of the brand.
Pros: rooms, staff and food is really nice, with some parts of the hotel very beautiful. Cons: compare to other hotels same level, I found that it is not as luxurious, the pools have difficult access and it is in the middle of nowhere, so you can't enjoy the seaside easily and you are stuck in having the expensive food of the hotel. For children, it should be OK as they have playground but the outside pool was freezing in a very hot day. I wouldn't go back, although I did have a good time in a work conference.
Superb location overlooking a stunning landscape. Can be very windy with wind noise whistling through gaps in the windows. Staff is lovely and eager to please, some times this can be a bit overwhelming especially at check-in with too many people trying to talk you through too many details of the hotel. Rooms are decent, not really exceptional. Confusing light switches will take some time to sort out. Bathroom is underwhelming with a tiny shower. Nothing complementary in the room except water (have to pay for nespresso machine pods, tea etc). A bit surprising for this caliber of hotel. Overall we've enjoyed our time here. We'd come back, hopefully the Ritz can iron out the kinks in the interim.
Lovely place for a quite rnr but do have to get taxi to go out to eat if you choose to dine out ,fantastic views
