  • God.......We made it there. Nice one and still kept well in condition. The path to the chapel is somewhat harsh but glad we did make it.  more »
  • This is a small archaic Visigoth and Arab chapel in an incredible setting well worth the visit, just 10 minutes from central town Lamego. The guide is very helpful and will give a tour of the site.  more »

  • Worth the trip both by the river and the surroundings of the site. Stuck in a deep place of Balsemão River Valley, this ancient medieval chapel (according to some, the Visigothic era) save some unusual loot, including traces of Roman sarcophagus and funerary aras medieval Afonso Pires, Bishop of Porto (16th century. XIV).
