Where to stay in Lagos

The historical city core of Lagos is packed full of colorful buildings and bustling streets, some of which date as far back as the medieval period. Though the hotels in the central district are on the expensive side, you can put yourself right in the middle of the city's best restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions by reserving a room there. The center and outlying residential neighborhoods also boast plenty of more affordable options, including smaller hotels, guesthouses, and family-run inns that offer fewer amenities but put you in good position to get out and about on foot. As Lagos is a relatively small town, you'll be within walking distance of both of its premier stretches of beach from nearly any lodging. Those with a car or transportation can get even further afield to experience other nearby coastal areas.

  • Very small beach with very less crowd. Main attraction are the rocks and small small caves. If u are a beach lover and spend time alone, away from traffic and market sound then dis is not the place. It's just beside the road and there are restaurants all around. Plus point is , washrooms are very near.
  • There's two sections of this beach- one bigger than the other. It's fun exploring the other side. Cliffs are a gorgeous colour & water is lovely to swim in
  • Great beach for a quick swim but because it is so close to town and get very crowded.
  • Beach is clean and crispy. Water is clean u can enjoy fusing summer, also u can find restorents along the shore of the sea
  • Nice little beach near the main Plaza, that is not to crowded. Especially out of the main season pretty quiet. White sand, clear water and a really nice view at the cliffs, the near by fortress and the city Albufeira in the backround. Usually really clean and no weird vandors or annoying tourist catching like at other beaches.
