  • A visit to this lovely vineyard is the perfect way to spend an afternoon. It is only 10 minutes outside the town of Lagos and is well worth a visit. Guillaume and his family have planted the vineyard ...  more »
  • Always great to visit a winery where the owner operator is the one running the tour. This gave us an intimate experience into the world and passion of a local wine maker. Great experience and would hi...  more »
  • Was 2 nights in the "Green Room" and had a wine tour with tasting. Location: The Winery is just a few kilometres from Lagos and slightly away from quiet. With a car it is therefore the ideal halfway between the Center and a quiet atmosphere. Room: Our room was very nicely decorated and neat and clean. A hair dryer was unfortunately not present, in case of doubt you would have but certainly get these on demand. There was also a bottle of red wine as a gift. The old walls keeps the room cool. There is no air conditioning. The small terrace invites to the stay a. Staff: The Winery is a family-run. The owners are very polite and friendly with some dining tips. Where in the restaurant chosen by us then also the wine there - coincidence? There are 4 dogs at the winery, which roam free and are also curious. The wine tour was also very informative. To do this, olives, bread, and cheese were served. Conclusion: Suitable for all, looking for a special experience directly on a vineyard and the location estimate, but don't want to miss the closeness to the city. We would recommend unreservedly

  • A beautiful, quiet and authentic place where you can relax and enjoy the closeness of the real vineyard - at slow pace, relaxed, admiring the nature and vegetation around. The breakfast is served outside, in the company of 3 friendly dogs that makes the morning very enjoyable! It's possible also to join a winery tour and wine tasting of locally produced wines – to know better the history of the farm and especially the winegrower’s approach to the production of organic wines. Hosts are very friendly and helpful - gave us a very useful tips about the places worth visiting in the area and there are many of them!
  • Great Wine Tour and Place to stay! Guillaume gave us a lovely walking tour of the winery taking time to explain each step in the wine-making process, including the vines, grapes, harvesting, aging and bottling. It was a great lesson in producing organic wine for the whole family that finished with a generous tasting experience featuring two red and a white wine paired with fresh bread and crostini, soft goat's milk cheese and local artisan honey that WOW-ed us all. If only every winery experience could be this fabulous
  • Had a tour there at the small farm where we were shown around the vineyards, cellar and the fermentation room. There were no grapes yet as it is still early in the season (early June) but the hospitality we received was well worth it. It is an organic production and somewhat young (est. 2000), but the 4 wines produced are of great quality, rich flavours and strong taste! You will have to prebook the tour as they do them only on certain days. Recommended for every wine lover :-)
  • Great Place! We spend here 2 weeks of our holiday enjoying quietness and organic environment of the vinery. Start a day with breakfast on the terrace in the shadow sipping coffee and fresh squeeze orange juice and finish it during the sunset drinking great organic wines - rose, red or white. The place is very quiet, far away from city noise and as well it is suitable for visiting other Algarve locations especially beaches. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We had in Monte de Casteleja good rest and felt there very welcome  We strongly recommend the Monte de Casteleja!
  • Friendly host and hostess, beautiful location and good wine!
