Where to stay in Lagos

The historical city core of Lagos is packed full of colorful buildings and bustling streets, some of which date as far back as the medieval period. Though the hotels in the central district are on the expensive side, you can put yourself right in the middle of the city's best restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions by reserving a room there. The center and outlying residential neighborhoods also boast plenty of more affordable options, including smaller hotels, guesthouses, and family-run inns that offer fewer amenities but put you in good position to get out and about on foot. As Lagos is a relatively small town, you'll be within walking distance of both of its premier stretches of beach from nearly any lodging. Those with a car or transportation can get even further afield to experience other nearby coastal areas.

  • Booked an early morning round at Espiche golf course on Sunday morning to tee of at 8:00am. I was the first off and had the course to my self. At €35 for a round it is good value for the Aalgarve, the...  more »
  • An interesting challenge, but firm fairways with lots of run can result in even good drives running out of fairway and into trouble on some of the holes. Since this was our first time there we weren't...  more »

  • Challening course in very good conditions, very friendly and helpful staff. We had quite tough conditions due to strong wind...Good training for some punsh shoots;) Some blind holes from the tee. Would play it from white next time because it was quite short from yellow tee boxes.
  • Nice location but the course is still more luck than skill dependent despite recent improvements.
  • I played here in June 2016 with my wife and 2 members in the Thursday roll up This usually starts at 8am.This is a magnificent course with great views and made better by the friendly members Will be back for sure Billy Brennan
  • Nice golf course but tight fairways with some blind shots , it can be windy here as it was when we were there which makes it harder still, bring plenty of golf balls you will need them .
  • We really enjoyed our round here. It's very challenging at times, tight fairways with brutal rough. Plotting the way round is the only way. Greens are slow, but fine once you know the pace. Clubhouse is under construction so not much in way of refreshments or eating but this will soon be available and my guess is green fees will creep up then too. Well worth playing this challenging parkland course if you're in the area just make sure to take plenty balls.
