Outdoor Activity
Dizzy Dolphin is a 7.4 metre Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) and is the only licensed dolphin boat in the port using a state of the art motor running on lead free petrol. Although costs are twice those of diesel powered boats, the fuel is cleaner and more eco-friendly

The crew have owned and operated large sailing yachts in Portugal for 15 years and know the waters well. Among the clients have been wheel chair passengers, young children and pregnant women. Most people who want to can Get out to see and meet the dolphins!

Dizzy Dolphin operates on a Maritime Tourist license No 007 (!) issued by the IPTM and a Cetacean watching license issued by the ICNB, both Portuguese regulatory Institutes. The boat is inspected every year and certified for commercial use. Insurance is through AXA. The boat carries flares, smoke signals, life vests, automatic life rafts, GPS, VHF radio with automatic distress call relay to satellite, and two mobile phones.

Where to stay in Lagos

The historical city core of Lagos is packed full of colorful buildings and bustling streets, some of which date as far back as the medieval period. Though the hotels in the central district are on the expensive side, you can put yourself right in the middle of the city's best restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions by reserving a room there. The center and outlying residential neighborhoods also boast plenty of more affordable options, including smaller hotels, guesthouses, and family-run inns that offer fewer amenities but put you in good position to get out and about on foot. As Lagos is a relatively small town, you'll be within walking distance of both of its premier stretches of beach from nearly any lodging. Those with a car or transportation can get even further afield to experience other nearby coastal areas.
