  • Old heavy doors open an old church. A beautiful church, very bright, enjoyable, suffused with light. There's sophisticated concerts and typical Portuguese trade shows, you don't understand the language, but religion needs no language. It rests and enjoys the silence of the Church Hall

  • Not as impressive as many of the ornate tile covered churches, this church does have a pretty alter area. Located by the slave market it makes a short stop on the sightseeing tour of Lagos.  more »

  • 15th and 16th century Church, having been restored in the 19th century, after a great fire. Situated in Praça do Infante Lagos, together with other points of interest on the site, well worth a visit.
