  • Maybe the ugliest beach I saw in the whole Algarve. You go there just because you have to visit the Benagil cave. Beach is overcrowded and overexploited. All is full of boats, kayaks and rental...  more »

  • Small beach and you don't get any space on June to August! View is good . Albufeira is best 👍
  • Great place. Has a few restaurants close to the entrance where you can get food and cold drinks. Its a bit windy. Lots of people playing games near the water. Great to go with kids.
  • A beautifull place to die.
  • Go only if you are gonna swim to the cave! The beach it self is very tiny and during the high season (July-October) gets really really crowded. If you go during that time and you want to find a spot to lay down on the sand I recommend to go early in the morning around 10am. But what I recommend more is, go to the beach, leave your stuff in the car and just go to see the cave. Is really fun to do it! You have to be fit to do it. Is not too long but it takes like 10 minutes swimming to get to it. If you are not a good swimmer you can just bring a floater with you. After seeing the cave you can go back to the car and then drive to a nicer beach, a more quiet place with less people. But don’t forget to check the whole of the cave from above (you get there from the parking area)
  • Beautiful beach full of huge shells..at least in May when we visited. Lovely beach with enough space. Nearby there is the famous cave of Benagil but unfortunately we didnt visit because of bad weather :( We enjoyed the stop here anyway.
