  • It pays to know the historical center of Guimarães, Portugal's special place. We were in Braga and travel to Aveiro, but decided to pass. Very pretty town. Several restaurants and shops. Visit the Palace Square, where we were lucky enough to get exposure of inventions of Leonardo da Vinci. Also know the Castle. Recommend.

  • Urban identity reclassified. Public use is exceptionally located. Terraces, shops and bars appealing. Good street environment.

  • A village with tradition, history and a location privileged in the middle of forests and hills. It is worthwhile to spend the day walking along the streets and enjoying the view

  • Although every story that carries, I found this part of town well disappointing, but that doesn't take away the merit of the beauty and relevance. The strong point is the amount of restaurants.
