  • Very beautiful place, natural pools in volcanic rocks. A must for anyone who comes to the wood. At the bar we ate toasted sandwiches of ham and cheese from serra that was divine. Recommend!

  • Spectacular place to spend a sunny day! Costs only 2 euros, however it's nothing expensive into what is, we ask a daybed and pay more 2 euros, maps I think it was money well spent! Everything has to be a place of compulsory stop.

  • The swimming pool opens at 10.00 and from 10 h 10, there's no beach umbrellas. Also here thinks to be able to carry around the tourists from other countries a bit on the nose. When we were there the first time I ordered 3 and 2 sunshades. In other swimming pools in Madeira, it is then so that one enters and is an employee in the sunbathing area, gives one, upon presentation of the receipt, the desired items and takes her to the place where you would like to be. We were so into it, down the stairs to deck area and found no one. So we searched for even our sunbeds and umbrellas, we found 2 stand but only after a long time foraging (as it turned out the last two, and that 5 minutes after 10!). IH then randomly met on an André visitor with an umbrella under his arm, who told me that you get the screens at the entrance. The entrance, in which we had ordered the umbrellas and paid, the screens but not got. So I ran back up the stairs and got the last 2 screens. A short time later came then these employees back to us on the square and ask for the receipt of the concern and the screens, because a lot of angry visitors demanded screens, but there were no. Luckily, I had the receipt handy. In other bathrooms we had thrown away has always been you, as we had, Yes, what we wanted. I watched the staff, and you went only to visitors who looked after tourists and let is show the receipts, probably in the hope that he or others had already thrown away. From 14:00 it will be packed in this pool. And you have to watch, because the local youth jumps from the right and left of the rock and the right small pelvis, so that on a down and hardly swim forth is to think. You can swim and swim, which is moored in the sea, on the small island but only in the morning, because there will be afternoon there also quite narrow and young people there is even between the football play.
