  • A wonderful little museum. Displays of fish, birds and mammals. Small aquarium. Most of the museum was closed for a ten year programme of refurbishment so admission was free. Still worth a visit.
  • It has not changed much in all the time we have been visiting/living here, except the turtle has gone from the aquarium. Museums have moved on, this one hasn't.
  • An interesting Museum, gives insight into the flora and fauna of the island and its geological structure. Presents all the animals and birds that inhabit Madeira (stuffed animals, photos, posters), a lot of information in English on Wednesday, habits and peculiarities of each species. Huge collection of minerals-well this is understandable, since the island is very diverse. In General, I think for a very worthy Madeira and a rich Museum, not every major city can boast. Unambiguously useful visit!

  • Vale a pena a visita.
  • Interessante
