  • This is a great little museum at the end of a fairly long uphill walk but worth it. It will take you about an hour to see the museum, gardens and chapel and at €3 each it is a steal..  more »
  • Although others may be underwhelmed, I enjoyed walking up through the cobbled streets to this museum (and stopping along the way), touring this house museum (1 hr.), and relaxing in the adjacent garde...  more »
  • A small quinta with a little bit of history and a wonderful silver collection. The garden was a peaceful place with a good collection of plants and old stone relics.  more »

  • Very pretty gardens well worth the few euro entrance fee. Museum interesting too but i preferred the amazing gardens and huge trees... Some very noisy frogs too!
  • Small but very good silver collection
  • Free entrance for students. Museum and a small garden to visit.

  • The Museum advertised "Design Art Museum" and this certainly wasn't. It was an old Villa, where was the rooms laid out in favor of old Portuguese and English furniture and other design elements, such as tables and rugs. On the ground floor of a former wine cellar had been collected by a big pile of individual objects in the katalogimaisesti, with no real description or story. The Museum's "the garden" was quite charming, but very dilapidated. Shall not pretend that the place is not taken as the 15-30 minutes, but you may very well save you some other. The staff was also quite reserved, and not been able to tell from no more than a tourist guide to the tagline.
