  • The ruins of Milreu are pretty close to the A22 motorway, a 5-minute drive away. the car park at the domain is limited, 8 spots but you can also lose your car along the way. The building is fairly modern. Once paid (cheap € 3 I think) can you progress through to the outside, or with the stairs or slippery slope for wheelchair users but these will not really get very far on site, steps and pebble. It's a pretty spacious grounds with beautiful vestiges (ruins) of Roman times. Some pieces are still beautiful remained intact. After the tour there is a small museum inside with some nice pieces from the excavations of the ruins.

  • Congratulations to the Regional Direction of culture of Algarve, the quality and care posts in the conservation of an area so representative of our history supported by a small but interesting Museum, installed in the optimally framed building at the front desk, is a visit not to be missed, allowing the easy mental reconstruction of what it would be like a "Rustic Villa" romana at the beginning of our era.

  • Just after the palacio, the ruins disappoint. Not put into perspective and plan difficult to understand, even in french. Some nice pieces of mosaics however and the price of entry is low.
