  • You wonder as soon as you enter, is like a fairy tale. Without a doubt, the most beautiful of Evora. The Palace beautiful and well cared

  • Founded in 1485 and restored by owner d. Jaime de Cadaval in 1958. Is private property. You can see the Gothic ribbed ceiling and a beautiful tiled flooring of 1711. The chancel altar and the sides have golden wire in different styles. Also visit the sacristy.

  • Worth the admission fee is a bit high, this church is not next to the Posada Hotel Cadaval House located on the opposite side comes in and. Also on the ticket the Cadaval House can also enter tour. Interior walls and covered completely with great blue Azulejos is a small church, the breath-taking beauty. Crypt is located under the floor of the Church of the middle part of the floor is glass-fronted and voyeurism can be seen.

  • With business card €7 you view the Church and Museum. The small church is entirely decorated with typical Portuguese azulejos, carina. The visit to the Palace/Museum I found unimpressive, overall I find excessive cost for what you got

  • Beautiful example of a Portuguese Church. Expensive 7 euros.

  • The walls of the Church are covered with Portuguese tiles and the altar painted gold, combine beautifully. The Palace of the Dukes is not distinguished by anything, rather it is sad.

  • Beautiful church internally decorated with azulejos. It is part of the property that you visit palazzo Cadaval with one ticket. The Palace is quite interesting.

  • One of the most beautiful churches of Évora impresses by the richness of their blue and white tiles with the simplicity of ogival arches. The entry pay, but the Church is in great shape. It was worth it!

Where to stay in Evora

Take advantage of Evora's array of ancient and historical sites by staying in one of the many mid-range hotels located within its medieval core. Thanks to a mix of Roman, Moorish, and later European buildings, the entire center is listed as a World Heritage Site, so this area provides a great base for sightseeing by foot. To save a little on accommodations, you can also check into one of the hostels in town, most of which are located in the city center or on its winding residential streets that branch off from the main squares. These usually have shared, dorm-style rooms, but can get you right in the midst of the action at a very low cost.
