  • The convento dos Lóios, beside the Roman temple of Évora and the Palace of the Dukes of Cadaval, is a beautiful 15th-century building, erected on the ruins of a medieval castle. The Church of the convent (St. John the Evangelist) is spectacular, one of the most beautiful I had opportunity to visit, in Manueline style, all covered in tiles. The former convent was transformed into the Pousada dos Loios, a hotel of charm, very beautiful, well worth visiting.

  • Excellent location, service and breakfast. Close to all sights and restaurants in the historic centre. Free parking. Recommend!

  • For entrance to the Palace of the Dukes of Kadaval and the Church had to pour 7 euros. The Palace is generally not particularly impressed, and the Church from the inside lined with tiles, looks good, but still such money, in my opinion, not worth it. Entrance to other locations in Evora or free, or worth a couple of euros.
