The church dos Loios is small and very beautiful. It is mostly covered of azulejos on the walls. This is definitely worth the visit.  more »

In view of this strange site should be avoided. With €7 you see a church and former convent now hotels. The nearby Museum of Evora, the local municipal Chamber, with less than half the price offers an excellent collection for the city's surroundings, from prehistoric times to the present day. The remnant Church preserves chunks, but the cost is out of place. I donot. Check out the rest of the beautiful Evora.

  • Very good historical hotel. Very well situated.
  • This is a very interesting place to stay.
  • Beautiful building with much character and charm. Excellent location in central Evora. The staff are excellent and go out of their way to ensure that you have everything you need. The standard of food and service in the dining room is fantastic - perfect to try a selection of regional dishes and wines. Perfect if you want to stay in a historical hotel with all the luxaries of a modern hotel at a reasonable price.
  • Great hotel with cosy (small) rooms that used to be the monastery cells.
  • Nice place

Where to stay in Evora

Take advantage of Evora's array of ancient and historical sites by staying in one of the many mid-range hotels located within its medieval core. Thanks to a mix of Roman, Moorish, and later European buildings, the entire center is listed as a World Heritage Site, so this area provides a great base for sightseeing by foot. To save a little on accommodations, you can also check into one of the hostels in town, most of which are located in the city center or on its winding residential streets that branch off from the main squares. These usually have shared, dorm-style rooms, but can get you right in the midst of the action at a very low cost.
