  • When you arrive in Evora for the first time is something that no doubt is part of the city. It is very interesting to explore it from the Centre of Évora, the Giraldo square. Only the more observers will find traces of this aqueduct. Then if you follow the aqueduct iras discovering very interesting parts of the city. Already in the city outside the walls can take a path that moves approximately 2 kilometers of the historical center with a path that goes slowly into the undergrowth, and ends in a former convent, until I came here I enjoy it.

  • Well, if you're into history is a wonderful check that a Roman construction still remains preserved in the present day. I think in love and nerds can't lose.

  • What differentiates this aqueduct all other you've ever seen is that, on the inside of the city walls, the aproveitos population their spans to build. In this way, the aqueduct became a frame of houses that follow your path, giving a different air to it. On the outside, is quite impressive.
