  • This aqueduct is responsible for water supply for Evora since 1500 years until today. Worth visiting parts of your building to admire this masterpiece of engineering.

  • The view is beautiful. More interesting history of this water supply network, their outlines and details, your history and mysteries. Worth seeing!

  • This aqueduct is not original Roman, but Portuguese. However, there was a Roman aqueduct which is being excavated, and whose route overall matches the current. I advise to visit the aqueduct from the vicinity of the door of Lagoa. This allows to see the houses which were built between the arches, and which are occupied. Interesting to note that their height marries the terrain of the aqueduct, which makes towards the end, they are very low.
