  • Good option to understand a part of the history of Covilhã. A couple of hours to figure out the wool and their secrets ...

  • We love to meet this first part of the Museum and be able to admire all the original pieces and saved from the industry as well as curiosities related to the era portrayed. Will need at least 1 hour to visit the Museum of Lanificios. Find all a story not only of wool but of the local and national population at that time. Can choose to tour or free and can still enjoy some discounts at the entrance.

  • The wool Museum is located in the oldest part of the University. It's very well organized. You can see a movie and then follow all the stages of production of wool from the wool, to the dry cleaner to the cloth, after passing by the looms, etc. Very interesting. You can see in detail how was the Real factory of cloths.
