  • I have visited the quinta das lágrimas twice. The first was hosted there just with my Husband and this time I went with a couple of friends and their daughters. I'm a fan of the story of Pedro and Inês and so is a hotspot of visit, both the history as for its beauty. I would like to stress also that the Marta is at the box office. I'm going back.

  • The site is a pleasant walk to the sunny days! A nice Park to walk and discover some of the history of the city.

  • Beautiful location, historical and well preserved. Account with one of the best restaurants of the region, which serves good food and has an excellent wine list.

  • The gardens are beautiful, but not breathtaking. I went just visiting the gardens and I think it doesnt worth the money.
  • Part of the hotel was under construction so they upgraded our room. The service is second to none, would highly recommend as this is the best hotel in the area. Would happily visit again and look forward to exploring more gardens during a later visit.
  • Good facilities with nice and cosy rooms. The gardens are wonderful and the staff is helpfull and friendly.
  • The hotel and the breakfasts were excellent. But the restaurant left a great deal to be desired. I had a "menu" at 40 Euros. The pork was dry and not at all good. I ordered a glass of red wine. The wine was fine, perhaps even better than fine, but there was barely enough for one good swallow. I could scarcely believe that the wine steward was serious.
  • Old but well preserved. Good facilities with nice and cosy rooms. The breakfast is good with several items. The gardens are wonderful! The staff is helpful and friendly.
