Portugal dos Pequenitos, Coimbra

Categories: Historic Sites, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4/5 based on 1,000+ reviews on the web
At Portugal dos Pequenitos, explore a miniature world displaying scaled-down versions of some of Portugal's most important monuments and buildings. The attraction was built in 1940 in honor of the nation's people, history, and cultural influence. While best suited for children, who will enjoy interacting with the exhibits and feeling large in this small world, adults will also find the historical value of the displays interesting. View a copy of the famous window from the Convento de Cristo in the historic city of Tomar, various monuments from the capital of Lisbon, and traditional houses. Check out the costume museum which includes over 300 pieces of miniature clothing, the naval museum full of tiny ships, and the furniture museum with small pieces handcrafted from exotic woods. Also, stop by the different pavilions dedicated to the former Portuguese colonies. The park lacks covered areas, so keep this in mind on hot days. • Is one of the most beautiful "beauties" of Portugal. Upon entering we have all the monuments and houses typical of our Portugal. It's beautiful and very much appreciated by larger and smaller. They don't know what they're missing in sinda not to. More information the Portugal of the little ones stay in the wonderful city of Coimbra, the My.

  • The Park is well maintained and is an interesting to do with children. In and out of the House is something to keep the little ones amused for hours. For the adult, the visit is interesting the first time, I don't feel like to go back there. The price is too high and end up attractions does not correspond to the amount paid. However, I say: it's worth going once.

  • Worth every euro paid, because for both the adult and the child who is the real focus of the Park is fun and charming. There are mini replicated sights of Portugal, typical houses that can enter open doors and Windows and the kids love ... When we were visiting there was an exhibition where children made drawings with ink in the water and drifted into the role, I found super interesting and my 7 year old daughter loved. There is also a small but well-kept playground that children liked it. For 3 euros you can walk in there with a little train really cute and I don't have to talk about the joy of the children ... we left to do at the end of the tour.

  • Fantastic experience for both children and adults!
  • Um clássico que ainda vale a pena visitar com os mais novos.
  • A must go for families with children. A small world
  • Óptimo para as crianças!
  • Beautiful but expensive. 9€ per adult seems excessive
