  • Visit with any frequency including to music concerts. Pleasant amphitheater and with good acoustics.

  • The building, of undisputed architectural interest, reveals (already) external signal degradation due to quality of one or another material chosen. Personally I don't like access to entry, forcing down a ramp, which I think is as an initial and ride ' plongé '! On display, a fairly comprehensive private collection of Portuguese contemporary art curated by Rachel War, with some contributions of Spanish artists (Saura, Ciria, Santiago Idanez among others), an interesting piece of Vanessa Beecroft and Cindy Sherman and other countries (Brazil, Efrain Almeida). Opens the exhibition a fantastic Opié, and soon there's a couple of the most sought after autoretratos on role of Cabrita Reis. A piece is not always easy to find Lourdes Castro, but also two interesting pieces of Susanne Themlitz, and a couple other of Rui Sanches. Joaquim Rodrigo Angelo Gonçalo Duarte de Sousa the Julião Sarmento, Rui Chafes to Vitor Pomar, Alvaro Demmée, had the Lapa some (almost) everything. A fantastic triptico Joao Tabarra fotografico, an interesting table of Arman. The collections are what are have what they have and they lack ... what they lack! The consistency depends on the collectors or who is advising him. But given the undisputed interest-who cares, of course-I'd say it's a show not to be missed, and certainly didn't give my time lost!

  • We were impressed with this museum, the architecture but also the exhibition. Diverse and innovative work, painting, pictures and installations. Well worth the visit!  more »

  • Very good. Already visited twice. Too bad you didn't change the collections more frequently.
