Praia das Rocas Reviews
Je pensais passer un moment agréable en famille et c'était un enfer. Je ne vais raconter le détail mais juste vous lister pourquoi je suis si insatisfait : 1 - Pas assez de places de parking j'ai tour... more »I thought spend a good time with family and it was a hell. I won't tell the detail but just list you why I'm so dissatisfied: 1 - not enough of parking I shot 30 minutes to Park 10 minutes walk 2 - once arrived, no indications clear we enter the Park, let's in unions but they are useless, it should come out to buy tickets across the Street 3 - once before unions still no indications , we made the tail 30 minutes and a lovely young woman explains that he take that the cash or Portuguese cards... not 4 visa - forced to leave with the boy and affairs under the arm, back to the car look of the cash and relive steps 1 and 3 5 - after so 1 h 30 of galley we are finally entering the Park! And what a surprise: icebox and parasols banned (at least why not if everything is available on-site), almost impossible to find a place to land except ask our towels on concrete markets, the dark corners are stormed and paid (so you can imagine easily the boat with my son of 20 while one refused me access with my umbrella) and nothing more fun to see your neighbor with the feet on your towel When you return from your little swim... I keep... 6. forget the heavenly pictures of the site, pool funds are so used they are Brown, concrete tiles are cracked... 7 - small attractions are available for small (buoys and small boats with Ruffles) but prohibited at less than 3 years, supposedly for reasons of security... I think I can hold my son of 20 less in a small boat with about 60 cm of water wheel... at most spend... 8 - but the icing on the cake is the restoration, hour and a half waiting to access the only sandwiches available on complex... beautiful sandwich bread with a salad leaf and a mini piece of meat... We offer you a drink at the "menu" and drinks available at the entrance are not those of the menu (lol) he must go back rest them and take the 3 only drinks on the menu or pay extra , the Frits are also extra and paid sauces... The only drinking sandwich "tosta mista" is available to 15 h (LOL) and of course it tells you that cash! So forced of take the "suffocating Christians" more expensive and come back later (if you have the courage, of course) well anyway a pure and simple tourist... avoid this place if you want to spend a nice time in family advice to owners and managers... stop thinking that your customers are only distributors of euros and think also to manage the obsolescence of your Park
Familia de 4 pessoas com um vocher de 20% de descontos, com actividades incluidas ficou por 29€, o dia todo. Podemos levar geladeira que fica guardada e devidamente vigiada num espaço próprio. Pode le... more »4 family vocher people of 20% discounts, with activities included was €29, all day. We can take the fridge that is stored and properly monitored in a space. You can take her to the Park picnic or choose to go get the food (offer bags and paper) and take it to the location on have the towels. This last was our choice. More fun with activities and worth. The day passes quickly. The waves are every hour for about 10 minutes. If you want shade or rent a beach umbrella, go early. At least in August. Don't let the towels near the water in the pool. When these begin to surf the water wets everything.
água limpa, bom espaço para nadar e brincar com as crianças, dispõe de boas sombras, bom sitio para passar um dia em família e com amigos more »clean water, good space to swim and play with the kids, offers good shadows, good place to spend a day with family and friends
Have been here twice and will continue to come here every summer. It's super fun to spend the day here. Very relaxing and the waves are amazing. It's best to bring food with you and there is a place to keep the coolers indoors (sort of like a locker room) and there are picnic tables available. It's a great place for people of all ages. Adults pay 7€ without any activities. I haven't done any of the activities so I can't review those, full price adult ticket costs 10.50€ which is still not too bad if you're planning on spending the entire day here. If you want to get chairs to sit in the shade, be sure to come here early as people line up before it even opens!!
Went there for the first time last month and loved it. Definitely going back next year. Huge artificial beach, with waves coming every 30 minutes. There is plenty of activities also, conquered my fear of heights by going on a slide, but you can do also a aqua gymnastic, go on a canoe of a swan ride by the lake. There is also some animals (turtle, snake, owl, parrot) that you can take pictures with but at the end for having an impressed copy they charge 8€ which i think is expensive taking into account that a ticket with activities included costs 10,5€ for a full day. There are 2 types of tickets , one that include the entrance fee + activities and one with just the entrance fee, children under than 6(not sure) are free but if you want to do activities with him you have to buy an activities ticket, at the time they didn't explain me this and I had my daughter cry half of the day because she couldn't do the activities. Also there is a huge line outside to buy the tickets, better to go to the balcony inside. The beach is adapted for people in wheelchair, meaning they can get into the water with the wheelchair, but can have a bit of a struggle to go to the bathroom, must be accompanied. There is a "restaurant" that you can eat, but you can bring food from home but if you bring a cooler or isothermic bag they ask you to arrange it in a room that they have. Overall great experience.
A marvel. A beach on the hill??? Wonderful.
Really cool place to chill out away from the confusion. Even better out of summer
Very relaxing and lots of fun activities and the best of it artificial waves...
