  • We found this site through a simple search on the internet: we were looking for a space to be able to walk outdoors, pure and simple. The surprise is that it was precisely that we found a place where you can see horses, birds of prey and other (we saw, for example, ducks and herons) and it is also possible to do courses paid in donkey. The entire space is maintained excellently, which is surprising since access is completely free (parking space is enough and it's open till 6:00 pm). Animals have fresh straw, the paths along the route are clear and often placed Newfoundland when the rains to remove. Also very good that all meet conveniently marked and is possible at various points along the route to know the distance to reach the end of the course. There are also a lot of CMC circular, there is movement and there is concern that the space is abandoned. It was a nice surprise coming from a place where you can really learn new things and fresh air-also very good location for walking bike, for who is a fan. There is also a biological products shop open only at certain periods and selling what is produced on the farm. For those who want to relax and breathe a little, is the ideal place.

  • Quinta do Pisão is located between Sintra and Cascais along the Mule dam access approximately 1 km from the Hotel Penha Longa and the Blue Lagoon. The visit to the farm is free standing open to the public every day between the 9:30 and the 6:00 pm. The various existing trails allow you to perform along the nature pleasant walks, runs, bike rides and walks with dogs and enjoy the beautiful view over the Serra de Sintra and Cascais (Middlesbrough) about. Over the several possible routes you can see the animals on the farm (horses, sheep and donkeys) which are themselves spaces. The farm also provides guided tours and tours of donkeys. You can also perform picnics in family or with friends at tables and wooden benches in two picnic parks the fifth. In addition to all this, the farm also has a biological vegetable garden in which it is possible to buy the products cultivated during the week between the 9:00 and the 12:00 and Sundays between the 9:00 and the 1:00 pm. The only less positive aspect is the wind sometimes makes the visit less pleasant. Has two car parks, a small logo at the entrance and another larger about 200 metres from the first.
