  • If someone is going to go on the highest cliff of Madeira (and I think that everyone there wants to doświadczyc this amazing view), I recommend hiking along this just lewady. The route is not fairly, with very Lookout, it leads between the building boasts the inhabitants of Islands and their test plots and the arable crops. You can also make friends with oriented oriented to tourists traveled cats or dogs) Walk leads slopes and valleys where we can admire the exotic vegetation and the views are breathtaking. During our expedition trail was actually empty, there was a caravan of tourists. We were basically just its very nice people. Following you can almost look at their backyard. The route is not very difficult but it is good to have comfortable trekking shoes and free all afternoon. The final stop is Cabo Girao. Approx. 600 metres under your feet while standing on the glass-enclosed platform:).

  • For me/us, this was the first Levadavandringen. Not easy to find suitable interchange. But once we were on the track, it became a wonderful hike at 8 km. This is the view from a place which is located about 1 km from Cabo Girao.

  • Moderate severity if you, who we are + 60 years. On single spots, it is tantalizing, but mostly completely safe trekking. Great variety of valleys and constantly new prospects. Conclusion with viewing rock Gabo Girao is "nice" with little warning for the tourist trap. It is a great advantage to the starting point and end point are connected by public transport, about 45 minutes from Funchal. Bus journeys in and of itself is staggering, but safe, experiences.
