  • The place is beautiful. The hotel, a very nice Royal Palace. But the rooms ... not the pageantry of location. The rooms look like they have never been reformed since the days of the monarchy. And that's not a compliment. I was in a room (which wasn't cheap) with old carpet in room (those that give allergy) and a bathroom (!!!) were missing tiles on the walls. Unbelievable. It's worth asking to stay in a nice room at the time of check in. Besides, the restaurant is very good.

  • Stay at Palace of Bussaco you move the antiquity. The building is magnificent and it feels like a Queen. The rooms and bathrooms are old but adapted and comfortable. There's no fridge or air conditioning but sleep with Windows open is a requested because it has a constant breeze. The restaurant and the menu are excellent. The suggestion of the restaurant is great, accompanied by a good wine of Buçaco. During the day you can walk through the gardens and feed our fish in a lake.
