  • We were not installed at the hotel; We visited only the exterior and gardens. I dared not even asking to visit the public areas, once at the entrance were painted up and down as if to question what we were doing there. Beautiful facades but in need of restoration/cleaning. A nice place to visit but it deserved, in my view, more caring.

  • Last Palace built in Portugal in the 19th century in Manueline style, the Hotel do Bussaco is in a fantastic location and great kills. A raving beauty on the outside, the relentless action of time on lack of conservation of its rooms, its richly decorated corridors and halls that are works of art. The richness of his restaurant contrasts sadly with the poverty of the menu and with low quality in the preparation of the same, not to mention the almost personal oversight. The breakfast is not so different from the dinner experience. The Concierge and cleaning staff is attentive and try all ways turn into quality that the lack of investment deteriorates. Urge a modernization of the rooms (really urgent!!!!) and a better deal. In terms of Hotel, doesn't pay the daily investment.

  • I loved the stay I had in this Palace Hotel and the careful way with employees treat us breakfast. Really the rooms don't come with the luxury of the hotel. The Windows facing the garden are fantastic and really make us feel we're in a charming setting. Great for romantic escapades.
