One of the most significant sites in the city, Cathedral of Santa Maria de Braga is renowned for its artistic contributions and historical importance. Though the original structure was built in the 12th century, the cathedral has been greatly changed since. • Beautiful historical building in the central area of the town. It is one of the oldest standing Portuguese buildings, fact that gave origin to a saying. Unfortunately there is not much on local information.
  • Great historical cathedral in Braga. The neighborhood has several large churches, so don't just visit the cathedral. Everything is within walking distance.
  • Amazing, must go beauty
  • One of the main attractions in Braga. Paid 5€ to access the cathedral, guided tour and museum. For me the museum was the less interesting. The superior level of the cathedral is amazing with those 5k pipes.
  • Another beautiful place in Braga, attached with it a theater used for performances in events like Braga Romana.
