Where to stay in Braga

Make the most of thousands of years worth of history in Braga by staying in a hotel in the city's celebrated town core. An array of mid-range hotels are wedged in among its winding streets and secluded squares; many of these feature decent rates and easy walking access to nearly all of Braga's popular sights. You can also opt for an apartment rental or guesthouse, most of which are offered by local residents to visitors, to get a similar old-town experience with a bit more privacy and independence. For some peace and quiet away from the tourist crowds, reserve a spot at the nearby monastery.

  • The stadium was built by Pritzker winner Souto Moura. So prepare yourself for a masterpiece instead of a tradicional soccer field. It is amazing what was done here. The boring part of the guided visit...  more »

  • The design of the stadium is crazy but the fact its hiden on the side of a hill is not convient and the seats arent comfortable and lets just say that Bragas Fans are not the friendliest.  more »

  • For a football stadium it has large hallways and corridors so you don't generally feel claustrophobic. There is little free parking on the stadium grounds, but around the stadium you'll find parking. Inside the stadium be prepared to be cold, the city itself is cold aside from the summer months, and with a toolbox configuration, the stadium always has a chilly wind draft. There are little to none elevators inside and it is a tall structure so be prepared for a lot of steps. Food supply is found outside the stadium and is fast-food based.
  • Went there to watch Braga Vs Sproting and we had a great time. The architecture is simply out of this world, it's completely different from these new arenas. The only bad thing I can say about the statium is that it gets extremely cold in the winter, so I'd highly advise you not to choose your seat in the shade.
  • Small venue but fun to watch Futbol here. Very interesting stadium set in an old quarry. Not much for food selection during games. Don't sit in A7 unless you intend to stand all game.
  • Unique football ground built into a quarry close to town. Worth going to see the impressive architecture
  • Nice place. the facilities are great
