  • Lost in the neighborhood of Beja, this Vila remains very well preserved. Unfortunately, this monument isn't open to the public. You can still visit it, but all thanks to a very friendly and kind lady ...  more »

  • After several km, some on dirt road, the facility is closed! What a pity. But... there is a woman (D. Conceição) living next to it, and after knocking at the door, she guided us through the roman Vill...  more »

  • This is not yet officially open to the public (Dec 2016)...but you can knock on the door right next to the ruins and talk with Ms. Conceição. She will show it to you and explain everything (you will admire the passion that she has for that place). If you like to see Roman ruins you will love this huge and well preserved house. The downside: it has a bumpy and dirty road to access it.
