  • We went down the gangways knowing that only half was open fruit of last summer's fires had destroyed the final part. Starting in Espiunca, we're early. For this reason, the 4kms were made without much trouble. On his return, already close to lunchtime, we noticed that not all the people out there will have the spirit that walks in nature require. Since some litter left on the ground to people listening to music while roamed the catwalks, everything can be seen. In this country there is still much to do for people to evolve at this level. Therefore, I fear that over time the gangways will suffer, especially if the necessary maintenance is neglected. The repeat. In the spring as with hot weather will be something less pleasant due to the morphology of the land.

  • For those who know know that Portugal is a beautiful country and wonderful, but these Gangways are out of this world, it's hard to explain so much beauty together, the Paiva River to your color and the slopes and banks are of a beauty that just watching. A place you have to visit.

  • A little known place, but charming, 8 km from rides largely on ways of wood bordering the Rio Paiva, in April 2017 only open half of the travel already was to a fire on the promenade. Recommended to find detailed information on its web site, and you can also buy online tickets for greater safety (1 adult euro). If you like hiking, or a simple walk of several kms with the family is a good place,

  • Scenic path along river Paiva. Online booking is cheaper than buying tickets on the spot. If booking online, don't forget to bring a print out with you (don't forget it in the car). About 8 kms each way. If doing both ways it's better to start/finish in Espiunca. If doing one way it's better to do the path from Areinho towards Espiunca. Taxis available to get you back to your starting place. Emergency phones placed along the route.
  • É absurdo os km q fazemos para depois descobrir q o preço da entrada duplica só pk compramos no proprio dia. Essa informaçao Nao está clara no website.
  • Congratulations to whoever had the vision and drive to accomplish this project.Well executed, great views and location and outstanding value for money.Other councils take note of what you can do with imagination and interest to promote the area...
  • Great mountain hike, be prepared since it's not easy ! Beautiful views of the river and the mountains.
  • Cool hiking path, about 8km one-way (it isn't circular)
