  • These stones are, so it seems, a unique geological feature. The interpretation center shows an excellent 3D movie with a goos explanation. Don't miss it! The zone has great natural beauty.  more »

  • This site is superbly laid out with walkways above the bedrock. The Centre opposite, built within an old dwelling, is a star attraction. A superb 3d film, and a real star in the education officer runn...  more »
  • You have to see it. It's an unique phenomeno in the whole world. There's an office where they explain to you everything about it. You won't see nothing like that anywhere. Amazing.
  • "Unique in the world." Visit interesting, in a place with breathtaking scenery. We now know that the stones also "give birth", or was not this the only place in the world where the stones are parideiras! The visit to the Home of Parideiras Stones has cost £ 2 insulated/pessoa for a 3D documentary that describes all impeccably phenomenon and their reasons (3 €/pessoa, if they include immediately the visit to Weather Radar-worth). After the movie, check out some some stones ready to give birth, at the site of the House, whether across the street, where a bridge, in the forwards by one of several "maternity wards". By the way, enjoy the sights, including Its da Mizarela, that boasts a striking perspective. Sin by the absence of wheelchair accessibility. Visited may 2017

  • Site with a unique geological phenomenon in the world located in a rural area of Freita

  • Rare location in the world, and barely tapped in Portugal. The hits are unique, and the lack of parking combined with a narrow road the arrival on the scene. The House of Parideiras Stones doesn't encourage scientific disclosure for who is visiting, as I visited on a weekend. Only were present behind a counter for selling local items. With respect to the space of parideiras stones, is well done the gangway so as not to damage the environment. Worth a visit, but you might want to search before on the subject to get informed of the phenomenon will see.
