  • Great day out for nature lovers. 8km walk - hike, on man made trails following the river. Lots of parts are under shade, but a hat is recommended on hotter summer days.  more »
  • So awfull to see what the fires have done to the area. Only a third of the stairs are still able to be climbed. Would have loved to see the forrest with all threes instead of a terrible dark hillside....  more »

  • There are montains a convent it is a nive and calm place the persons have time to speak and made the Passadiços of a natural river Paiva.
  • A fantastic geopark within easy reach from Porto. There are about 14 hiking trails and they take you through some beautiful landscapes Probably the highlight from a geological point of view are the 'stones that give birth', the rare phenomenon where nodules grow out of the stone and drop off.
  • If you want to see Nature in a raw state, this is the place
