  • Beautiful beach with several restaurants and seaside café for lunch or just a snack. The sea is not safe. But when does empty seas gets a beautiful backdrop for a walk by the sea and bathe in the huge puddles.

  • Excellent beach for the summer. It's not too big, ideal size quite small which makes it almost a beach/family site

  • Easily accessible Beach calm sea in summer and large expanse of beach. Recommend taking cuts see. Although Sun the wind can often be unpleasant. It has bars on the beach and campsites.

  • A lovely beach. Nice winter walks where you can feel the harsh winter cold of the Ocean, you somehow feel immersed with it and the region around. At the Summer the Ocean calms down and you can take peaceful baths.
  • The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the Atlantic is cold. Aside from that. The sand is nice; though not super fine grains, it isn't a pebble beach. Strong waves; you'll see lots of surfers. didn't see any aquatic life but we went in the evening in September so it was just before high tide. It was a windy afternoon so it was a little chilly. Aside from that, weather was mostly sunny. I definitely plan to go again and try to catch low tide.
  • Probably the best beach in the world :) The magic of this beach it's its extension and diversity. From sandy beach to bits with lots of rocks, where in the low tide you can observe and interact with the wildlife. There's fish, mussels, octopus, crabs, etc... All of them trying to hide under the rocks. It's like observing an aquarium! I can spend hours doing that... You can walk about 10 Km on the low tide from Praia da Peralta to Praia de Paimogo. In Peralta there's a lot of fossilized shellfish. Also, if you ask the locals, they can point to the places where they have found fossils and "left overs" of Dinosaurs. Stop reading this and just go :)
  • Great beach! Sunny, close to restrooms, bars and restaurants. Cold Atlantic water...
  • Amazing beach. Perfect for surf!
