KidZania Lisboa, Amadora

KidZania® is an award-winning children’s ‘edutainment’ concept, located in The Dubai Mall, and introduced to the Middle East region for the first time through an exclusive partnership with Emaar Retail. An 80,000 sq ft interactive mini-city, KidZania® combines play with learning through a fun and innovative approach.

KidZania® provides a safe, unique and very realistic educational environment that allows kids to do what comes naturally to them: role-playing by mimicking traditionally “adult” activities. As in the real world, children perform “jobs” and are either paid for their work (as a firefighter, police detective or journalist for example) or pay to shop or be entertained. The indoor theme park is built to scale for children, and accurately reflects the workings of a typical city through paved streets, vehicles, a functioning economy, and recognizable destinations in the form of “establishments”.

KidZania® features offices, university, fire station, race track, radio station, pizzeria, hospital, bank, theatre and ATM machines amongst others, all scaled down to a smaller, child-friendly size. Children dress up in real-life uniforms and perform realistic professional tasks in a fun and meaningful way.

There are over 70 different roles to choose from including that of surgeons, firefighters, chefs, engineers, models, actors, artists, radio hosts, photographers, television hosts, jewelry designers and mechanics among others, making each visit to KidZania® a new and exciting experience for children.

  • Is a very interesting for kids of varying ages (personally I would say between 5 and 13) but it should better capabilities that have installed. My kids were there twice (more than 6 hours in each visit) and failed to participate in all activities. This in large part because there is no control over the duration of the activities by the monitors-identified activities lasting 20 minutes, arriving to take 40 (e.g. University). There are also some monitors that shouldn't be there because they don't like/can't handle the kids (example, F1 race track ...)

  • Great option for a rainy day kids spend Lisbon, children playing and women shopping in the Mall where it is located kidzonia, great judging by her smile, does not seem to have problems by speaking Spanish. You hit, there are only 6 attractions open, most are closed, and the price is the same 25 leuros for two children and one adult. There are Bank, post, police fire ambulance, factory biscuits, McDonalds, pizza hut, Lidl, beauty salon, school, theatre, stadium of football, veterinary, hospital and airport with aircraft and more that I can't remember, a last if they were all open. Apparently they open them on weekend. Not be if I'm more amocionado I or the kids

  • The KidZania looks more like a business than a park. It took almost 40 minutes for attraction, and there (in each attraction) employees spend their lives taking pictures, and pictures for sale everywhere! The kids end up late for the other attractions. The staff are friendly, especially women, the few friendly there are, are of brazilian nationality. Anyway ... a disappointment! Do not recommend to anyone, because it loses time, makes a maximum of 4 attractions, is expensive (for what little you do) and still compel the parents accompanying young children to pay the entry, even though these will only accompany the children. A shame!!!

  • Wonderful place for kids, they love it. Go early and enjoy the full day. After 8 they can go alone. There's a room with free WiFi, sofas and a small cinema room for parents to wait while kids are having fun
  • Enormous fun for the kids. A unique place to experience adult activities adapted to kids age.
  • My daughter described it as the best theme park in the world. Does it say enough?
  • Great place for kids to play. Expensive but a great experience.
  • (Pt/Ing) Das muitas vezes que lá fui nunca me desiludi. From all the times I went there I never got disappointed.
